LEOSA Qualifications.

Honorably retired peace officers qualify for the Sheriff’s card indicating that you are qualified to carry, with your retired ID, nationwide. You must apply to your Sheriff for the card, and there is an application process. Contact your Sheriff for the process and application. You will have to shoot and renew your card every year.

The Sheriff is asking folks to renew by mail, so you can call them to get more info on that. The Washoe County. Sheriff number is: 775 328-3023

Qualifications.

All we provide is the opportunity to shoot the required qualification and provide the state certificate for you to take to the Sheriff to get or renew your card. There is no training attached, you will just shoot the qualification. You will need to bring any handgun and a minimum of 30 rounds for it. The fee for this is $20.

We run these qualifications in conjunction with our ccw classes. Check our training schedule for a date that works for you, and show up at our range at 

1300 to shoot. We do ask that you use the contact form or the message button to let us know you are coming. That way we can notify you if there is a change.
